Join the Next Generation Threat System (NGTS) Team: Support Cutting-Edge Modeling & Simulation for the DoD
The Synthetic Environment Modeling (SEM) team is on the lookout for a talented and technically skilled Datalink Simulation Engineer to support the Next Generation Threat System (NGTS), a government-owned, developed, and managed software product. NGTS is a sophisticated synthetic environment generator used by the Department of Defense (DoD) and its international partners for modeling and simulation (M&S), trainer systems, test and evaluation (T&E), and a variety of research and development (R&D) activities. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a continually evolving platform that plays a crucial role in training, testing, analysis, and research for multiple military platforms and services.
As a member of the NGTS team, you will be at the forefront of supporting the DoD’s live, virtual, and constructive (LVC) environments and high-end simulation training. You will design, develop, and test Datalink Simulation Models, interface with cutting-edge technologies, and collaborate with a dynamic team of engineers and subject matter experts (SMEs) to drive innovation in military training systems.
Why This Job is a Unique Opportunity:
- Work on Advanced Military Systems: This role offers the chance to contribute to the development of one of the most advanced synthetic environment generation systems used by the DoD. NGTS plays a critical role in supporting live, virtual, and constructive (LVC) training and operational testing, offering an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies.
- Collaborative, High-Impact Work: As part of the SEM team, you will collaborate with a diverse group of professionals, including engineers, operators, and subject matter experts, to deliver top-tier simulation solutions for military training and operational readiness.
- Hybrid Work Environment: Enjoy a hybrid work schedule that offers flexibility while still providing the opportunity for hands-on involvement in critical simulation and testing work.
- Career Growth Potential: The position provides an opportunity to develop expertise in a high-demand field of military simulation, with room for growth and increased responsibility as you gain experience and technical knowledge.
